...and that's why I've basically ignored this site for a month. (I feel bad...but it couldn't be helped...) I have 5 AP tests to study for, and I'm getting more and more frantic as the time draws nearer for each of them. I'm especially worried for the physics one, although I know I probably don't need to be, seeing as my teacher is preparing us pretty rigorously.
On a more pleasant note - I just got my SAT scores back, having taken the new SAT in early March (which, incidentally, was the first time the new one was ever administered - something to tell my grandkids, I guess

) and I was altogether pleased with the results. OK, I felt like a frikkin genius. I wasn't expecting a 2100 at all, more like an 1800 or something...but I'm certainly not complaining...hehe. And for those of you in high school who have yet to take it, here is my advice: the essay section is NOT NEARLY as bad as all the hype it's gotten. They say, Oh no, you only get 25 minutes??! but 25 minutes is absolutely nothing to sweat over - the whole essay is two pages, and the paper provided for you is not even college ruled. So, if you hate analogies but are OK with your writing skills, you're pretty much set for the new SAT.
ALSO - check out the scrap I just submitted - I have....artist's block? or something with this one. It's another Harry Potter one that I am drawing freehand in MS Paint (which requires me to save it as JPEG and it screws it all up...blegh). If you have any suggestions for what I can do...please...don't hesitate to suggest. I need help with it...more details in the description.
